Standard Warranty (For Diamond JIS, DIN, AGM Series Only)
1. Standard Warranty Period
- Passenger car batteries: 12 months (For Extended Warranty please refer below Extended Warranty via Web by Dealer Only).
- Commercial batteries: 6 months
- Warranty period starts from the date of purchase shown on the official receipt.
2. Warranty Coverage
Covers manufacturing defects only, such as:
- Failure to hold charge under normal use.
- Abnormal capacity loss not caused by misuse.
- Internal short-circuit or defective cells.
- Not include EFB (Start-Stop) Battery Series
3. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Improper installation or non-automotive use.
- Overcharging, deep discharging, or incompatible chargers/alternators.
- Physical damage, terminal burns, casing cracks, swelling due to overheating.
- Abuse, accident, collision, modification, tampering.
- Lack of maintenance (e.g. low electrolyte in maintainable batteries).
- Normal wear and tear beyond expected service life.
4. Claim Procedure
- Present the original receipt and warranty card.
- Return the battery to an authorized dealer/service center for inspection.
- If confirmed defective, the battery will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
- Replacement battery will carry only the remaining warranty period of the original unit.
5. Limitation of Liability
- Warranty covers the battery only, not indirect losses (e.g. vehicle breakdown, towing, loss of income).
- The company reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice.
Extended Warranty via Web
1. Additional Warranty Coverage
- Customers who register their battery purchase via the official mobile app within 7 days from purchase date will enjoy total warranty coverage of 21 months / 30,000 km, whichever comes first.
- The extended warranty is valid only after successful registration is confirmed in the web.
2. Registration Procedure
- Visit the official website: www.badakingbattery.com
- Click on Warranty Registration.
- Fill in purchase details.
1. Battery brand
2. Model,
3. Serial number,
4. Invoice date (Attached Invoice Copy),
5. Car information (Brand, Model, Mileage)
- Upload a clear photo/scan of the purchase receipt & car infomation.
- Submit and receive confirmation email.
3. Exclusions
- Failure to register within 14 days from purchase will forfeit eligibility for the extended warranty.
- Incorrect or falsified information will void the extended coverage.
- Extended warranty terms follow the same exclusions as the standard warranty.
4. Important Note
- Keep the original receipt as proof of purchase.
- The extended warranty does not replace the standard warranty but extends its coverage period.
Warranty Claim Procedure
Step 1: Prepare Required Documents
- Original purchase receipt
- Warranty card (if applicable)
- Battery with visible serial number intact
- Odometer Mileage Image (in km)
Step 2: Contact Authorized Dealer/Service
- Bring the battery and documents to the nearest authorized dealer or service center.
- Alternatively, contact customer service hotline/email for guidance.
Step 3: Inspection & Testing
- Battery will be tested using professional equipment.
- If defect is confirmed and within warranty terms, claim will proceed.
- If battery is in good condition or excluded (misuse, damage), claim will be rejected.
Step 4: Claim Decision & Replacement/Repair
- Approved claims: battery will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
- Replacement battery carries only the remaining warranty period of the original battery.
- Claim processing time may take 14 working days after received the battery.
Step 5: Important Notes
- Warranty covers battery only, not towing, labour, or indirect losses.
- Keep receipt and warranty card safely throughout the warranty period.
- The company reserves the right to amend claim procedures without prior notice.
